Bored with the never-ending light bulb and lamp shade duet, Philadelphia native Judah Konigsberg designed The Square Tulip , a bold new LED lamp that resembles three square tulips in a flower pot. Like a love child between a flower vase and 80’s sci-fi movie, The Square Tulip lights up with a cool neon glow, and it takes full advantage of the emerging wave of LED lighting to reinvent the table lamp. Konigsberg recently built the first prototype with the help of  Nextfab Studio , and he launched a Kickstarter campaign to help get The Square Tulip off the ground. + Judah Konigsberg + The Square Tulip on Kickstarter The article above was submitted to us by an Inhabitat reader.
